Lake Placid

I just arrived from the lake house and this weekend was really something to remember.

On friday when we got there i was amazed how beautiful the place was. We came in and it was like a typical beautiful lake house with one floor of many rooms for many people to fit in. I could see the big kitchen combined with a room with a big wooden table and a hallway with three bedrooms next to each other on both sides. Anyway, I'm not going to tell you how the house looked. It was big and beautiful. They had a big duck by the water with many boats that we were going to try out.

There was a group of wake-boarders there that we did a lot of fun stuff with. They took us out tubing which is when a bunch of people sit on a big air-mattress trying not to fall. That was fun! specially when the huge waves come and you really struggle to stay on that tube.

I had asked the owner of the house about alligators and snakes if there was possible to see any during this weekend and he said that there almost was no chance that we would see any because they're very shy around humans. But this saturday I saw more than one. If I'm right i think i saw an alligator four times. Twenty meters from the duck on the same spot that creepy big thing showed up four times. Very fun to see now when i've never seen a gator. I also saw a turtle in the water isn't that exciting ;)

The wake-board was hard to get up on in the water but when i learned to get up it was easy to balance. It was almost exactly like snowboarding with the turning and jumping. The only hard thing was handling the waves and getting to know the technique how to jump and land right but it was almost the same.

So I felt like I was treated like a king during this weekend living in a beautiful house, eating delicious food and learning to wakeboard. Perfect.

See ya soon
