Calm and steady

The musical "Wicked" was awesome! The effects, the singing, the harmonies and the acting was great! Of course I was very tired so I almost fell asleep in the beginning but falling asleep was hard. There were so many effects and such powerful songs that I just had to see everything! A good story. Sad, but funny sometimes too.

I arrived to the Philippines today. I'm in Manila right now. Right now I'm sitting watching the view of the city from this great house. I can't see that much of the city right now because there are trees in the way, but i saw it from another house before and it was a beautiful view. I don't really feel like writing today. I'm very tired so I'll write tomorrow or the day after instead :)

So now i'm in London by Arsenal and it is really nice to take a day rest before the next flight up in the air.

Very nice to see Sara and tonigh i'm going to see the musical Wicked! Oh yes. I got here this morning, we checked tickets just for fun and guess what! Two tickets next to each other was the only tickets available for tonight. We were very lucky and I'm very excited since i've heard a lot of good things about that musical. Well I can't be to excited then i'll might be disappointed laiter when I see it, but it's always fun to go see a big show like that. Destiny isn't it? two tickets left when you usually have to order a ticket like three months in advance! Yey lucky Lindh and Litton!

Cincinnati Airport

Okay!!
I'm not in Fort Lauderdale anymore. It's a strange feeling. I don't feel that i said good bye to everybody I wanted to meet before I left. Well well what to say. Good bye everybody in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida!
Happy? Good for you!

I'm really going to miss some of the guys from in and outside of the Lovewell group. I had a great time even if didn't do much else than to watch tele and doing yoga outside of the workshop. Oh yeah! I ate a lot too.

As I think I said, my way of hanging out with everybody was a bit lame. I was always to tired to hang out and do stuff when the days finished so I always just went home and turned on the tv. Before I got it my dormfriends took my word no for granted so they stopped asking me if I wanted to come do all these things in the afternoons. I did some fun stuff like going to Miami in the middle of the night with the staff to see a guy play the piano and sing in a bar once. I also went to a typical American house party once. It was kind of like in those highschool movies. Big house, rich guy owns it, a lot of young students and everybody's drinking.

Except for those things a hardly did anything. I always said no and I'm kind of proud because if I would have said yes I would have been soo tired all the time! (kind of what they were)

The worst thing seems like the most pathetic thing. I didn't get any tapshoes!
I one way or another I will get a pair anyway one day :) Since I realized that tapping is the best thing in the world I will learn it more and I will get better than I am now. Good stuff

Cya

4th of July

Today's when the United states of America celebrates its birthday. The Independence. The day when the wording of the Declaration was approved by Congress.

I don't know much about that day except for this and that there was a war between the british colonies in USA. It was when everybody in the colonies had signed the Declaration when they won and got free from the Great Britain. 

Anyway... 

The premiere was yesterday, and the audience was great. The show was great, I can't complain at all. It was a wonderful show. The only things I can complain about is my acting, but it will be better on Saturday. I wasn't concentrated enough i guess. One in the staff told me and Celery not to smile at all during the whole show an hour before we were supposed to start. I thought that was going to be easy, but what i didn't think of was that i had been very strange in a smiling way during the last ten days of preparing the character. So when I got up on stage yesterday i wasn't prepared enough for not smiling at all so i accidently started smiling and almost laughing a couple of times. So what to say? Better luck tomorrow.

Premiere tomorrow

It's going to be very fun tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to how it's going to be. We've been working hard today trying to get all the scenes together and it's really a great feeling knowing that we're going to perform something after three weeks that we've written all by our selves. Some scenes are amazingly good especially some of the big numbers that we've written. I'll write more after tomorrow when we've done our first show and when I have more spare time doing other things than only thinking about the show.

tap shoes

Today I was very excited because I had planned to buy a pair of new tap shoes. The plan was that me and the dorm-gang (Wanna, Lauren and Ali) were going to get my tap shoes at this dance store that is closing down, go shopping and then go to a barbeque party that a girl from Lovewell had arranged. 

We left the dorms around noon and headed for the dance shop. It took a while to find but once we got there it was closed. It was closed! Of course! It's sunday right? Why didn't I think of this earlier? Now I don't know when I'm going to get ahold of those shoes. This is important for me, so I guess i have to find a way to get my precious beloved another day. The problem is that i wont have time for going anywhere this week because of all the rehearsing during the days. We will work from 9 to 9 every day all week except friday. I could go on friday but apparently everything is going to be closed on that day. We also have the day off that day so it would be perfect but what to do. I hope the shop is open on saturday. 

The rest of the day was good, nothing to say. fun fun see ya soon

Saturday night

Just celebrated my awesome friend  Lauren's 18th birthday. Actually her birthday was yesterday but who cares right? If we celebrate our friends birthdays every day it is great isn't it? Today I was at this charity event for the american cancer society. The main event was a bunch of dancers performing in showcases. Some of the dancers were fantastic and some were not. I went there with some friends from Lovewell including the birthday kid and we got free tickets so that was really nice. I also saw some very nice paintings. I love to watch paintings sometimes because you can really just stand and watch the same one for a long time looking for something really rare in the painting. Finding inspiration in all kinds of arts is always interesting and if you think of it you might just find your inspiration too. 

Well well i don't know what to write today. Next week it's time to finish and perform the show and then i'll be off to Manila.
